In early 1999 I discovered a Screen Saver that showed a drawing that was actually drawn right before my eyes. From the moment I could purchase the program to make my own Screen Saver drawings I was hooked up, it was just great! Ever since I make drawings just for fun, as do my children. Jeff Newman is the creator of the Drawing Hand Screen Saver, ArtStudio and Sketch Studio. He is a senior software engineer and an artist. Jeff has spent the last 10 years developing the software. Not only did he develop the software he used it himself to create over 100 drawings that can be downloaded from the Art Gallery. There are not many artists who have created the tools they use to create the art. Jeff continues to improve the software and dream up new products. He also personally replies to a lot of the e-mail. As Jeff would say “I like to keep in touch with the people who use the software that I create”.
